got schizophrenia?

John Kerry on Iraq in a press conference yesterday:

"We don't need 160,000 people to be doing what we're doing over there. This is not World War II. This is not Korea. This is not Vietnam."

Priceless.

Whereas for World War 2, over 16 million Americans served in our armed forces...

Or how almost 6 million served for Korea...

Or how just under 9 million served in Vietnam...

Today our Military has about 2.5 million enrolled, with 160,000 in Iraq.

THAT is not too shabby for progress- on a long term scale.

Also, I believe we entered Iraq with over 200,000 troops... saying its 160,000 now that would imply that a good number of troops (40+k) have already come home.

    That wasn't my point.

My point was that he said that Iraq is not Vietnam - contradicting his entire presidential campaign rhetoric on Iraq.
